Work/Life Integration

We live in a world where we define and divide our time between work and life. If something comes up or life happens, these compartments get intruded on, we get off balance and everything seems to crumble. By learning how to integrate life and work, we are able to increase energy, health, happiness and productivity.

INTEGRATE’s offerings allow for employees to integrate mindfulness and wellness into the workplace without disrupting the productivity in the office and enhance the quality of work and life. 1-2 hr workshops led by Sarah Buchanan are meant to educate on mindfulness practices that will enhance the well-being of employees and allow them to check in on their progress regularly. This is a great kick of point for any company. Workshops can happen once or be reoccurring for employees.

Mindful Workshop

Introduce mindfulness + wellness practices into the workplace. Sarah works with companies to adopt wellness/mindful practices to help employees increase energy, health, happiness and productivity.

  • Mindful practices to relieve stress: educate on ways to integrate mindfulness into your daily life to decrease stress and increase productivity.

  • What is meditation: build an understanding of meditation not as a practice of not thinking but instead a way to release stress. This increases the use of meditation to decrease stress and increase productivity.

  • How to practice meditation: It's not so tough! Meditation can be intimidating. Early practitioners set unnecessarily high expectations for themselves. This will help eliminate the intimidation and make meditation accessible to all.

  • Guided meditation: Practice of breathing and stillness. We will focus on a mantra or word and the breath to increase awareness of the present moment, reduce stress, promote relaxation, and enhance self-compassion and personal growth.

Integrated Goal Workshop

Work with employees to create integrated goals and pathways to achieving those goals. We often create goals for work, family, wellness, etc. When we create these separately the priorities fight one another and that is where we become stressed.

  • Integrate goals: create goals that consider all aspects of life rather than compartmentalize work from life so that they can work together rather than against each other.

  • Strategies to manage goals: It is important to have a plan to implement goals. In this mindful goal workshop we will discuss strategies that allow fluidity in your strategies so that you are able to face adversity and allows continue progress.

  • Priorities and focus: we are easily distracted by new client requests, internal communication and what others are doing. It is important to adopt practice that allows us to keep personal priorities in place and therefore steer focus for high productivity.

  • Progress management: equip employees with plan, practices and reminders for checking in and assessing and adjusting on goals quarterly

INTEGRATE Practices

To support employees in adopting and practicing mindfulness regularly and or to maintain mindset of INTEGRATE workshops or experiences. Practices are recommended weekly or monthly to encourage decreased stress and increased happiness.

Meditation

This was my favorite "health" event that I've ever been to! I loved the combination of speakers, movement, food. The topics were great, it helped build community, it was fun! I would go to something like this monthly (or more) if it was offered. It was an incredible event and you could tell how much passion and love was put into it.
